DESCRIPTION:Southeastern Classic XXXVI\nWe are excited to announce that the 36th annual Southeastern Classic will be hosted by the Carolinas Austin-Healey Club in the Biltmore Village area of Asheville NC. We will be located just a few minutes away from entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have an incredible 4-day weekend planned on September 21-24\, 2023 for the over 125 registrations we are expecting. It starts Thursday evening at the host hotel with a parking lot Welcoming Street Party with food trucks and live music! During the Welcoming Street Party we will have an SEC first timers meet & greet car show. Friday we will have a Blue Ridge Parkway Poker Run that will include stops at fabulous scenic vistas along the Parkway\, including the highest peak East of the Mississippi\, Mount Mitchell State Park. On Saturday we will have another run on the Parkway after the car show that will include many classic BRP tunnels. \nDuring the weekend we will offer tours of the famous Biltmore Estate\, Historic Asheville Trolly Tour\, a fun Bingo Night (with a “professional” caller)\, a car show in a very scenic Biltmore Forest setting\, multiple tech sessions\, the famous Carolinas Healey Club hospitality room and great meals. DESCRIPTION:The Metrolina MG Car Club will host the 2023 Spring Tri-Club event on March 25th. They have invited the Carolinas AHC. We’ll depart the Charlotte Metro area (meet at 10:00\, depart at 10:30) from both Mint Hill and Lake Norman locations taking back roads for about a 40-mile drive on back roads to the Water’s Edge Dock and Grill on High Rock Lake (257 Boat Club Lane\, Salisbury\, NC). An alternative route would be to take I-85 to the Spencer Exit 79 and follow directions to the restaurant. This highly rated restaurant on the lake has great food and drinks while sporting a view of the state’s second largest lake and a huge paved parking lot.
