The coastal trip is planned for Sunday, 11/1 – 11/4 in historic and beautiful Beaufort, NC.  Some of you remember the wonderful trip we had several years ago. I had planned to have this trip in Southport, NC; however, after much deliberation, I decided to go back to Beaufort.  Southport does not have any hotels within walking distance of the downtown. During that time of the year, both areas have many tourists making driving and parking much too difficult.

I have arranged for us to stay at the Inlet Inn, on the waterfront of Beaufort. Those who stayed there in the past recall the wonderful location and accommodations. We have blocked 15 rooms of varying configurations for 3 nights, Sunday November 1-4, 2026 (checking out on Wednesday 11/4). The room rates vary from $169 – $199/night, plus taxes and fees totaling 12.75%. Guests staying three nights will enjoy Sunday night at 50% off the published direct book rate. They will extend a 10% discount to any guests staying fewer than three nights. The higher rate rooms are mostly 2nd floor, waterfront, king, with a balcony looking over Taylors Creek. Guests can review their property online (inlet-inn.com) and then book your room by calling directly at 252-728-3600 and providing the name, “CAHC”. Each guest will pay a required one-night deposit, which is fully refundable up to 48 hours before arrival (3pm two days before check-in).
